Rainfall Data/Pond Failure

Rainfall Data/Pond Failure

Rainfall Data/Pond Failure

(OP)
Hi Group,

I would like pose 2 questions:

1. I'd to model runoff from an actual 3-hour duration storm event.  I have 3 precipitation values for each hour of the recorded event.  How is this best accomplished?

2. I'd like to include flow from a pond failure in the model to occur at the peak discharge of the runoff event.  I can estimate the volume of water released from the pond.  I'm wondering how to best add this extra volume into the model.

Any insight on these questions would be appreciated, thanks!

RE: Rainfall Data/Pond Failure

1) For details on setting up a custom rainfall file please see www.hydrocad.net/rainfall.htm

2) You can set the starting elevation on the Advanced tab of the pond description.
