Storm Sewer Replacemnt

Storm Sewer Replacemnt

Storm Sewer Replacemnt

(OP)
Hi,

I have the task of figuring out what do in a precarious situation.  There is an existing residential subdivision in which the existing storm sewer (old metal pipes) needs to be replaced.  A lot of these pipes are running between houses that are 12' apart.  Pipe sizes range from 15" to 48" (I think) and are relatively shallow to 20' deep.

I need to find 3 alternatives with cost benefit analysis.

Any suggestions, experience, etc?

RE: Storm Sewer Replacemnt

slip lining
pipe bursting
Horiz. directional drilling
trench / remove and replace
install new parallel system
provide new surface drainage channel / basin / berms etc
any more I missed?

RE: Storm Sewer Replacemnt

Recharge dry wells and cisterns.
