How to create Points with IJK vectors

How to create Points with IJK vectors

(OP)
Does anyone know a simple way to export points from UG that would have IJK definition attached?  The IJK vector would be the normal of the surface on which the point lies.  I thought the PMI might have this functionality but I couldn't seem to find the answer.

Thanks

Stryfe

RE: How to create Points with IJK vectors

In the old days we would use a drill operation (no cycle)with the tool axis set to norm ps.  The xyz-ijk info can be output to a cls file or copied from the text window.
Clearance should be zero and avoidance will need to be turned off.  It takes a seperate op for each surface.
