Optimization of Hydrogen distribution network

Optimization of Hydrogen distribution network

Optimization of Hydrogen distribution network

(OP)
Dear all,

I have been trying to generate an algorithm for hydrogen network optimization through hydrogen pinch analysis. It's not targeting at a specific refinery configuration but it's more of a generalised guideline. All possible sources and consumers of hydrogen should be considered. I have been using elements from Heat exchanger and Wastewater network optimization. Any further suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

RE: Optimization of Hydrogen distribution network

You'll need a hydrogen generation or hydrogen use algorythem for all possible refinery processes.  The algorythm will be based on things like the unit feed rate and a "severity" or "conversion" factor.  Then witha few inputs you could sum your gozindas with gozoutas (in versus outs) to see pinches.

I would think a refinery would have this built into their LP's.
