I am trying to find the max allowable deformation for a copper tubing (with known material properties and thickness, diameter etc.) before failure. Please help me with this. If you can give me the equation or point me to the right path, I would really appreciate it.

Go to the web site below, and evaluate various copper and copper alloys. The data will contain mechanical property information that will provide strength properties and percent elongation, which provides a measure of the total strain to fracture under uniaxial tensile load;
