V5 Dimension Funnel

V5 Dimension Funnel

V5 Dimension Funnel

(OP)
I am using V5 R16 and can't get a handle on creating funnels on cummulated dimensions.  When right-clicking on the dimension and selecting properties, sometimes there is a tab labeled 'system' and sometimes not - and sometimes I can manually add a funnel and sometimes not.  I can't find any reference to this in the documentation as to why/when these two behaviors happen.  Does anyone have a clue to this?

RE: V5 Dimension Funnel

I certainly do not.  I have the same gripe with dimensioning.  You just never seem to be able to predict when a dimension system will be recognized as a system, or when it will just be regarded as a bunch of individual dimensions sharing the same basic space.

I've always assumed this is a bug, but maybe I'm wrong. (I hope)

I started V5 in admin mode and the system tab showed up on dimensions where it previously did not.  I hate to be working in this mode, but at least I have found a workaround.
