Modulus of Elasticity

Modulus of Elasticity

(OP)
I am trying to find the modulus of elasticity of an ASTM material.  The material is ASTM A675 Grade 50.  The ASTM spec. does not have it and I can't find it anywhere.

RE: Modulus of Elasticity

Don,

The elastic modulus of carbon and alloy steels is essentially invariant to composition, heat treating, etc. within certain composition ranges.  What this means is that any grade that appears in ASTM A 675 is going to have the same elastic modulus.  For carbon and alloy steels this is ~ 205-210 GPa.
