hello all, I have been having a problem of linier indications(crack ?)on forged valve body made by low alloy.
I'd like to know an indirect and a direct cause of cracks.

Not much we can say without know what valve you are using and under what conditions you experience the problem

I found linear indications such as cracks on forged valve made low alloy steel after manufacture.

I guess that ploblems were made while manufacturing.

   Are you the manufacturer ?  If not, I would suggest you contact them as they may not be aware of the problem, or there is an explaination of the lineir indications that you have observed.
