ANNOTATIVE TEXT IN 2008 NOT VISIBLE IN 2007

ANNOTATIVE TEXT IN 2008 NOT VISIBLE IN 2007

ANNOTATIVE TEXT IN 2008 NOT VISIBLE IN 2007

(OP)
Greetings Autocad gurus,

i use the new Annotative feature in Autocad 2008
to make my text Annotative so that the text plots
to the size i want in different scaled viewports
in Paperspace.

however, one problem is that when someone opens
my Autocad 2008 drawing using Autocad 2007,
they can't see any text when they are in Paperspace
and looking at the various vieworts in Paperspace.

any way how you can see the annotative text when
you open a 2008 drawing using Autocad 2007 ???

...any assist appreciated.

First thing I can think of is, under options, open and save tab, check and see if the "Maintain visual fidelity for annotative objects" box is checked.

And double check the help file for the SAVEFIDELITY system variable to see what all that will affect.
