Recrystallization Temerature?

Recrystallization Temerature?

Recrystallization Temerature?

Thank for taking the time to read
Could anyone tell me where to fine the recrystallization temp' of any materials and at least i need to know recrystallization temp' of F11,F22,F5,F9 materials.

thanks

RE: Recrystallization Temerature?

I don't recognize those designations.  Can you provide some additional information?

TVP

Such as recrystallization temperature of carbon steel is 720?.
so i want to know recrystallization temperature of low alloy steel.

RE: Recrystallization Temerature?

The designations are

F11 - 1.25% Cr -1/2%Mo
F22 - 2.25% Cr -1% Mo
F5 -  5%Cr- 1%Mo
F9 - 9% Cr-1%Mo

The recrystallization temperature will be at or above the lower critical transformation temperature for the Cr-Mo low alloy steels because the above low alloy steels would be supplied in an annealed or normalized and tempered condition as part of ASTM/ASME specifications.

Lower critical transformation temperatures;

1375 deg F (741 deg C) for F11
1430 deg F (775 deg C) for F22
1505 deg F (820 deg C) for F5
1490 deg F (810 deg C) for F9

RE: Recrystallization Temerature?

sk10009,
The subject materials are normally not subject to cold work.  As metengr stated, they are suplied in the annealed or normalized and tempered condition. Recrystallization after cold work will occur at temperatures approximately 200 to 300 F below the lower critical temperature.
