How/Where do I edit the config.pro file

How/Where do I edit the config.pro file

How/Where do I edit the config.pro file

(OP)
I'm not sure where and how to edit my config.pro file to change my tolerance display mode to "yes". mode "normal"

I would like this change for all drawings I create so I will not have change the file for each drawing.

Thanks,
Danoo

RE: How/Where do I edit the config.pro file

The config.pro file is in your startup directory. It is access through Tools -> Options - this only changes things for the solid model.

The drawing.dtl file is where the option needs to be set for drawings - the config option to point to the file is

drawing_setup_file your folder\Default_drawing.dtl

To create the file, right-click on the background of the drawing & select Properties -> Drawing Options - you can then save the file. This file will only be used if you don't use a drawing template - if you use a template, you will need to save the template with the option set correctly.

RE: How/Where do I edit the config.pro file

Here is a good thread thread554-16503: Config.Pro and Setup.dtl Tools with loads of information.
