How can I copy SW custom properties to file open detail properties

How can I copy SW custom properties to file open detail properties

How can I copy SW custom properties to file open detail properties

(OP)
In PDMWorks my files are now listed using my new dumb Filename, number, description, & DetailNo structure.
Example:
000015.SLDASM <303P> <Die Layout> <117>

This is wonderful for PDMW database structure and selecting files to Check-out.

But when I'm working from my local drive and I want to open a file all I see is a ton of dumb file names.

So here is my question;
How can I map or copy the same SW custom properties viewed in PDMWorks to the "details" column headings properties in a file open dialog box? is there a macro or some VB way?

Note: When you go to open a file, RMB on a column heading it brings up a details list. In the list are a ton of property fields that I can turn on or off. I thought this would be a perfect way to view the same info when opening a file as I do for checking out a file in PDMWorks.

Thanks for any help
Tom
