Our company is looking at the possibility of buying the Keytech Solutions software as a replacement for PDM Works.

Keytech are Solidworks Gold Partners and it does look to be a nice piece of software.

The idea is so that it will integrate with our BAAN ERP system as well, and save us some time long term.

Any thoughts or comments would be welcome before a decision is reached.

Thanks
Phil

Does the lack of response mean that no one has actually heard of Keytech ??
I understand it is popular in Europe.

Might be too late for you...we are also checking out Keytech.  We played with Conisio (now PDMWorks Enterprise)  but when D'assault  bought them they abandoned their proposed CATIA integration.  We played with SmarTeam but it seems very difficult to set up and seems clunky and buggy.   And why don't they support XP-64 yet??

The TeamCenter people don't seem interested in ease of use.

Now we are looking at Agile and Keytech.

We are using PDMWorks for SW stuff and though not perfect it is a great bang for your buck and excellent place to learn how PDMWorks without a lot of money or time.

PDMWorks Enterprise is a totally different product, despite the name.  We'd be very interested if they came out with a CATIA integration for it...but alas, it isn't there.

Hi Valshnar

I have just finished both the user and the administrator training for the Keytech software, it certainly is very powerfull indeed.

Our company will be 'going live' with the system in three weeks time, so I will report back after we have seen how it performs.
