I am working with a passenger car suspension system design. Does anyone know how to determine the damper force-velocity characteristics(non-linear)? Thanks.

RE: Damper Force-Velocity Characteristics

1) Drive over some events.

2) Adjust it accordingly.

3) goto 1

There's a book by Dixon that I have never read which may be helpful, otherwise the procedure I gave above is how we do it in both the real and virtual world. The correlation between those two is not good.

Cheers
