Alternate for G10

Alternate for G10

Alternate for G10

(OP)
I am looking for and alternate material for G10.  I would like to have similar properties as the G10.  The G10 will be used for inserts in a carbon fiber monocoque at critial points.  Any help in materials or any place to start looking.

This part will be put in an autoclave so it must withstand someheat and have a similar thermal expansion as prepreg carbon fiber.

Thanks Matt

RE: Alternate for G10

Why not use plates made of the carbon you are using?

Thanks for the reply!

Do you mean to lay a bunch of layers of carbon fiber together and use them to reenforce the structure.

Right now we have a honeycomb stucture that has two layers of carbon fiber on either side.  At points where suspension, shocks, motor and Roll-bars are this material will be used to bolt through and secure these items.
