Solid Edge and Excel

(OP)
When converting Solid Edge draft drawing to .dwg or .dxf you lose the Excel spreadsheets (bill of materials, title blocks etc.) on your drawing and are left only with your graphics. How does one circumvent this problem? Does this have anything to do with a raster for Excel and vector for the Solid Edge graphics?

RE: Solid Edge and Excel

I am sorry that I don't have an answer for you, but I am very interested in how you got the link to work.

We currently have to cut and paste from Solid Edge into Excel for accounting purposes and we have been looking for a way to get them to link.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
