Retreive values from a BH curve

Retreive values from a BH curve

I have a demagnetized curve of a permanent magnet. This curve is referring to a non-linear magnet.

The only informations that i have for this curve, is the HcB HcJ Br and Jm values.

Can I get from this values more points of the curve?

I want to simulate the magnetic field that it is produced by this magnet, but unfortunately my only informations are only the curve and the above values. I should need approximately 10 points including the Br and Hc values.

Thanks in advance

RE: Retreive values from a BH curve

If you have the curve take the values from it. If you need a curve ask the vendor for one. Many are online. You want curves that include the temperature response when you are asking a vendor. Occassionally they will provide the data as spreadsheet values which is then most appreciated.

What material is it?  You may have to use a generic curve shape and fit it to your end points.

Hello and help for the replys
I have a demagnetized J-H curve, from the shape of the curve I supposed it is a Neo magnet.
How can a use the generic curve to fit it in the curve?

any bibliography or any information from a web site?

Thanks in advance

janas21:
If you actually have a graph of the JH curve and you want to extract points from it for modeling software:
1) Print the curve (with J & H axes) onto a sheet of paper
2) Get a pencil and start marking off points on the curve, use a ruler to determine the J & H intercepts (at H=###, J is equal to ###)
3) Use these points to input into your modeling software

Your data points will be approximate, but should be sufficient for most modeling purposes.
