Licence Query

Licence Query

Licence Query

(OP)
I have a licence question that I could do with some advice on.

We have installed NX4 on our licence servers in the UK. However, our American office would now like to run NX4 from our UK servers.

I've read the small print in our T&Cs, and it states that "...UGS grants to Customer a licence to install, access and use the executable form of the Software solely in and from the United Kingdom." To me that reads that we can't run NX in America.

Does anybody else run NX in multiple countries from a server in the UK? I guess I'll need to ask our sales rep, but I'm worried that he'll say that we have to fork out even more money to buy dedicated licences for servers in America!

RE: Licence Query

UGS licenses are limited to the country of the purchase. You can pay a little more and get an international license.
