ASTM A335 P9 FATIGUE CREEP DATA

ASTM A335 P9 FATIGUE CREEP DATA

(OP)
Hi,

I have searched all over for ASTM A335 P9 (9Cr 1Mo) low cycle fatigue and creep rupture curves for temperature near 1100F. There seems to be alot of mod. 9cr 1mo data, but not for p9. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

DK

RE: ASTM A335 P9 FATIGUE CREEP DATA

DK;
I would bet that it would be difficult at best to locate low cycle fatigue data for ASTM A 335 Grade P9. I do have creep data for Grade T9 (tube product form) from one of my hand me down files (B&W Intermediate Alloy Tube publication).

Stress to produce 1% elongation after 10,000 and 100,000 hours;

1100 deg F

6950 psi for 10,000 hours
3775 psi for 100,000 hours

Hope this helps

metengr,

Yea, its pretty tough to find data on this material. Thank you for the information. With such scarcity in data anything is a big help. Thanks.

DK
