section views getting damaged

section views getting damaged

(OP)
ok i have a problem today with 1 of my drawings.

I made this drawing yesterday. It is a part drawing, it has 3 pages total.  there are 6 section views.  The problem lies with the "Display only cut face(s)" option.

Basically, when i made the drawing, all the section views had the "Display only cut face(s)" option ENABLED.

When I opened the drawing today, the section views showed all the faces, cut and uncut faces.  I tried regenerating the drawing, refreshing, restarting SW and rebooting.  I still get the problem.

Any ideas? suggestions?

RE: section views getting damaged

I have seen something similar to this before - try double-clicking on the section line twice, (it will reverse the section if you only do it once)it should regenerate the section view - hopefully that will help.

Okay.  I double clicked it twice and it did eliminate the uncut lines, however it did the red hatching to the section view.  (meaning it needs to be regenerated) once i regend it went back to showing all lines.

OK I got it figured out.  Under the "View Display" box in the tree, click on High Quality checkbox and the drawing view/section gets refreshed and voila.

just thought id come back and update in case someone searches for this topic and needs a quick answer.
