graphic and update to ansys v11 64bit

(OP)
Hi,

i updated my system to ansys v11 64bit with 64bit XP.
i used /SHOW,WIN32C graphical settings allow me used more than 9 colors in contour plot in 32bit version with success. Now i realized that captured images via

/UI,COPY,SAVE,PNG,GRAPH,COLOR,REVERSE,PORTRAIT,YES
/COPY,MSU__2000,PNG,,.....
/DELETE,MSU__2000,PNG

have totally unreadable text (numbers in scales, titles, date), image itself and ansys logo are depictured correctly.

This 32 number in /SHOW,WIN32C does it mean 32 bit ? If it so, it seems to me there is some incompatibility maybe.

anyone knows how to fix this problem ?

... i have already solved this problem by replacing png extension by emf extension in /UI, /COPY, and /DELETE commands.

RE: graphic and update to ansys v11 64bit

Hi,
as you imagined, win32c (and also win32) are two graphical protocols which may not work on different platforms.
On your machine it is extremely likely that you have an hardware-accelerated 3D video card, so you could select "3D" which afaik should redirect the graphical commands to the video card's driver directly.

However I'm glad you already found a solution of your problem.

Regards
