Contact

Contact

(OP)
I want to make contact between 2 instances, a plate and a piping pad assigned a concetrated load in horizontal direction. The contact should make the instances act just like if I made it as only one part. I`ve tried to make tangential, fictionless behaviour, surface to surface contact and tied the instances together, but the results give me no in-plane shear stress S12 or in plane stress 22 in the plate, only in the pad? I`m thinking something is wrong with my definition of contact, but may be something else? Anybody who knows what could cause this, please help?

Kind regards.
