2D drafting v19 - how to create block librery

2D drafting v19 - how to create block librery

2D drafting v19 - how to create block librery

(OP)
Im trying to go from my 3D models to make some 2D faces that we can use fore some easy 2d modeling on another computer (with the free 2D software).

When i have made a .dwg in my full verson (3D) converted that view to a 2D view, then opend it in the oter program. How can i save it so i can use it in a libary of parts?

Should i open it and cut it in as a symbol and then import it into the file with insert -> object or is there a smarter way?

I have thought about braking it upp to lines and make a block out of it but it feels good when you can change the dimension of it. (scaling).

Is there any way you can scale the things you draw in the picture aswell so if you dont have to scale everyhing in you head before you do it.

The you could get the right distence when you measure beween to scaled parts..

maby i should do the drawing in model space and then copy it into the sheet to make the scaling right?

RE: 2D drafting v19 - how to create block librery

you should do it in the 2D model tab, and then create a block, this can then be accessed and scaled from other sheets/drawings...
