STAAD Pro question

STAAD Pro question

STAAD Pro question

(OP)
I got an advertisement from Staad.  I recall that it is used for beam analysis.  For shell analysis I recall someone stating that analysis results are given at mid element rather than at nodes.
For those that use this program, can  you correct this statement if incorrect.

Thanks

RE: STAAD Pro question

Since Version 2001, it provides stresses and forces at the nodes for plate and solid elements. Really nice graphical and logical presentation of the results as well.

RE: STAAD Pro question

Just received 2002. Seems like plates and birck elements are reporting at corners, center and intermediate points. Also, new non-linear cable. I have yet to check this feature out.
