conventional surface finish? (inverted triangles)

conventional surface finish? (inverted triangles)

Hello all.  I've got a question regarding some (actually 2) inverted triangles that showed up on a customer drawing. Now I know that they are surface finish symbols, but I have no idea what the equivalent is in micro-inches.  It's two inverted triangles that i really care about, but if you could also tell me what 4,3,1 are it would be appreciated!

Thanks everybody.  FACS, it does look like its the E system. I'm just annoyed that there is no reference as to their dimensioning system on the drawing.

Shock,
I bought a book titled "Metric Standards for Worldwide Manufacturing" by Knut O. Kverneland. It's been a great reference for issues such as this.
And yes, it should be in micrometers.
