Crazy shaft groove creation

Crazy shaft groove creation

Crazy shaft groove creation

(OP)
Just discovered a "different" way to create shaft ring
grooves. On a plane outside the diameter of the shaft
draw your groove "rectangle" past the dia of the shaft
then do a cut offset from surface of the shaft for the
depth....voila.

RE: Crazy shaft groove creation

Cool Trick, it took me a minute to figure it out but it works.  Thanks.

Try it with a circle or ellipse...interesting but useless...lol
