Importing files accurately positioned into a scene

Importing files accurately positioned into a scene

(OP)
Hi guys, I am trying to get a complete as built scene into inventor, though this resulted in Inventor falling flat. So I broke up the model and am trying to import it in piece by piece. Though I need it to all be relevent to the original model, how can i do this baring in mid this has to be extremely accurate and not fudge fitting it into the scene. When i currently try to add/import the geometry it seems to be importing relative to the cursor position rather than ordiantely.

Hope that makes sense and someone can help me.

Thanks

Mike
