temperature loss due to pressure loss

(OP)
dear all,
this is the firist participate for me in this forums , i am haveing a problem in calculating tempreature loss due to friction in gas pipeline as i calculated the pressure drop and got the outlet pressure but can find the exit temprature for this pressure drop so i wonder how to calculate it.
thank you

RE: temperature loss due to pressure loss

Temperature change in a pipeline is so dominated by convective heat transfer that it is generally impossible to determine if there is any temperature change due to friction.

Theoretically, a pressure drop due to fluid friction would precipitate some minor temperature drop due to Joule-Thompson effects, but on the other hand friction typically results in a temperature increase.  I don't beleive that these effects are within the accuracy of practical measurement.
