Voltage flicker measurements??

Voltage flicker measurements??

Voltage flicker measurements??

(OP)
How could I continuously measure voltage flicker of two different loads connected to the same busbar?  . Could somebody advise me of any commercial PQM that can do it?

RE: Voltage flicker measurements??

RPM measures flicker; are you trying to measure two loads with one unit?
I suppose you could set the RPM out for 3-phase and connect it to individual phases of the two loads.

Flicker is a voltage measurement anyway; voltage will be the same for both loads at the common bus.

I would like to measure the individual contribution of each load because I am suspecting one is producing more flicker than the other

thanks

RE: Voltage flicker measurements??

Flicker is only done on voltage, as far as I know.

What you need to do is to measure current in the two branch circuits and see which one changes a lot. That's the one that causes flicker. But I doubt if you can get a standardised flicker measurement of current. The standards do only talk about voltage changes.

Hi.
iigp2006, I'm not big spesialist in this issue, but from time to time we provide some special meas.
In this cases I'm work with two companies.
Both of them have very good products and very good technical support ( not bad prices). Try contact to them.
