I am working with a parametric model of a military vehicle and trying to visualize the data I am managing. Does anyone know how to construct a Force-Velocity plot for the dampers used in VehDyn (part of NRMM)? The parameters I have access to are:

MaxDampingForceJounce
InitialDampingSlopeJounce
DampingBlowOffForceJounce
MaxDampingForceRebound
InitialDampingSlopeRebound
DampingBlowOffForceRebound

It seems like there are missing parameters (specifically the max velocity or the slope after blow off). This should be a bilinear curve in both compression and extension. Am I daft? A Google search did not turn up anything useful for me.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Matthew Ian Loew

RE: VehDyn Damper

You need at least 8 parameters, so they must make assumptions about two velocities, at a rough guess
