Part (Model) to Drawing (Orthographic) file

Part (Model) to Drawing (Orthographic) file

(OP)
I am new using Catia V5, so my question is how to bring up a model in a (Drawing) file.  NOTE:  I have set up my sheet, but I haven't found a clear way to transfer my model to the current DRAFTING (Drawing) file.

Thanks in advance.

RE: Part (Model) to Drawing (Orthographic) file

Hi,

Did you search first the forum or the FAQ area?

Fernando

RE: Part (Model) to Drawing (Orthographic) file

(OP)
I have been searching for the last two hours, but I haven't found what I am looking for.  NOTE:  Including FAQ.  I want to specifically assign a root view (front) where all other views will project from it.  The pre-defined options are not what I am looking for.  They do not match my Part (model) views.

Thanks.

RE: Part (Model) to Drawing (Orthographic) file

what you want is good / training!!!

use view creation wizzard to define view layout. pick face or plane that is to be the front.

Thanks!!  The problem was I was clicking the face before I went to "Creation Wizzard".
