hi!
i created a .ans file in COSMOS and wanted to open it in ANSYS Multiphysics. How do i go about it? I tried the ANSYS Help but didnt get much info.

thx

RE: Opening a .ans file

Why do you want to open an *.ans file from Cosmos?  This file extension is typically used to define configuration setting for the Ansys program.

Oh, no. I think you misread my question. I wanted to export an analysis from COSMOS to ANSYS. In order to do so COSMOS creates a *.ans file. I just can't figure out how to open this file in ANSYS.

RE: Opening a .ans file

Sorry my bad.  To do this see the /INPUT command.

Awesome! It works. Thanks a ton.
