just bought a spacenavigator and it will not work with SW07.Seems to be working with Google Earth but it will not work in SW07. Is there a setting in SW to make the pointing device work?

Thanks for the info. It seems the driver that came on the CD would not load correctly.  Once I used the updated driver/plugins the menu popped up for SW. and it is working but will be tricky to tailor it to my needs.
Can't seem to find where to Import the profile that I want from the 3dconnexion setup screen. I can't find where the profile is being saved to so I can not browse in SW Import to pick up the profile.  OH well, keep pluggin away.

RE: space navigator

Go to 3Dconnexion's website. They have an extensive help section.
What sort of profile are you referring to? If you want to be able to map the buttons, you should have a 3D Toolbar that will help you to bring up the mapping panel. If the toolbar isn't there, 3DControl->Toolbar.

RE: space navigator

One other thing, you can search for the profile you saved using the file extension: *.3DxSW
