Importing MS PowerPoint & Publisher Dwgs Into Pro/E

Importing MS PowerPoint & Publisher Dwgs Into Pro/E

(OP)
I have some 2D PowerPoint & Publisher drawings from which I need to have 3D engineering drawings made using Pro/Engineer. Is it possible to import those drawings into Pro/E and not have to completely recreate them and, if so, where can I learn what it takes and how to do it?

RE: Importing MS PowerPoint & Publisher Dwgs Into Pro/E

I can't imagine any way to bring this in to Pro/E.

We have an engineer who makes sketches with excel's drawing tools, which are very similar to powerpoint's, if not exactly the same. We don't even try to bring this into pro/e.

IMO all you can do is start a proper pro/e model from scratch. The time you spend trying to bring it in from powerpoint would just be a big waste, and the end result if you were somehow sucessful would not be as robust as a model started from scratch in pro/e.
