Response spectrum- Axial force - moment interaction in concrete
Response spectrum- Axial force - moment interaction in concrete
(OP)
We are doing seimsimc analysis of a concrete cylindrical storage tank using response spectrum method. I want to know how can I account for the interaction of moments and in-plane axial forces as the results from RS method are all positive. I am not sure if I am missing something here. Can anyone please guide me?

the values of moments and axial forces displayed on members are absolute values of what's the maximum value of (moment, shear) will occure here regardless sign of them..the designer should account for the both signs..and make combinations once with -ve values and another with +ve values
