Checking a contour

Checking a contour

Checking a contour

(OP)
Hi there,

Is there any possibility to check in a drawing view if a contour is closed? I know it's possible in a sketch, just wondering if the drafting workbench has some kind of similar tool...

I have a complex contour that I'm trying to hatch, and of course the "auto" option for hatching doesn't accept open contours... The contour is the "silhouette" of a part from an iso-view. In order to get it, I copied the iso view, isolated it and deleted the unnecessary geometry (maybe there is a simpler way to do that too?). Of course the resulting contour is not closed, but there is no way I can check where is it open?

Best regards,
Stely

RE: Checking a contour

Stely -the complex boundaries I usually rough in a profile.  I find the auto very inconsistent.
