Multiple CAE Plot Options

Multiple CAE Plot Options

Multiple CAE Plot Options

(OP)
All,

I would like to display two different types of info on the same viewport. I have many different materials and I've figured out how to color code them all. I can display this on the undeformed shape. I also want to show a contour plot of yield flags (AC YIELD in field options).

I want to see both of these views together. How do I do this?

A little background: It's a graded layer model so I want to see a plastic zone at the crack tip (AC YIELD) spanning across many layers each with different material properties (and colors).

Thanks as always...

CB

RE: Multiple CAE Plot Options

Check out "Overlay Plots" in the documentation. You can build up a composite of any number of images from your model(s).

RE: Multiple CAE Plot Options

a fast and easy way to do two plot side by side is to create 2 viewerport.

Viewport>Create>Tile Vertically or Tile horizontally.

and the print should show 2 plot together.

However, I do agree that brep's mehtod is more advance
