I'm doing some downsampling of a flowline, and the geometry editor in Olga is telling me my angle groups are not good (lots of red bars). Now I could be here all night trying to see what groups will best match my pipeline manually ... does anyone have any tips?

dont use this method, but in the topography directly, you can simplify teh data you have significantly.

What tricks do you use when simplifying topography? Is it mainly vertical segments which you keep the resolution for? I've found that you can have very coarse downhill sigments but need quite a good resolution of uphill segments (for liquid holdup etc)
