I'm looking for the mesh to work with solvent NPM. Does Nylon or PEEK mesh can be used? Are they dissolved in NMP very fast? Any other recommondations? Thanks!

RE: Nylon or PEEM dissolved in NMP

From memory, I believe Nylon is OK with NMP.

RE: Nylon or PEEM dissolved in NMP

NMP will dissolve Nylon, 66, at elevated temperatures I would suspect that it happens at over 150C. We used it in a process study at elevated pressure and temperature to dissolve nylon. I do recall that Nylon solubility was greatly affect by other solvents added to NMP though NMP did a fair job alone.

Nylon should be ok as stated above if the tmeperature is kept less than 60C. I would carefully watch the combinations of different materials.
