(OP)
Previously I have dismissed all fuel catalysts, etc out of hand

John Fitch was a very successful american race driver, and involved in establishing the Lime Rock track in Connecticut. His reputation is 100% gentleman.

Anybody try his fuel catalyst?

RE: fitvch fuel catalyst

Tmoose,

I have followed many of your posts, but I am a bit baffled by this one.  Do you have any reason or explanation as to why you think that this is different than any other miracle fuel additive (oops, I guess this one is a catalyst)?

To answer your question, no, I haven't tried this.

RE: fitvch fuel catalyst

None of the 'Published reviews' approach scientific credibility.
A reputation doesn't pay the bills, so it seems your 100% gentleman sold out.

RE: fitvch fuel catalyst

Surely, you have GOT to be kidding, right?  No engineer worth his papers would think this product carries any merit.

RE: fitvch fuel catalyst

I've written this before and I'll repeat - we tested on our dyno's (at the insistance of the VP of MARKETING) all manner of additives, cats, cow magnets, and the like and found that if any of them did anything it was to LOWER the HP by about 1% and INCREASE the emissions by about the same amount.

I did get a kick out of the Fitch video where the guy is leaning on a mid 90's snowmobile while talking about HP gains from using the product that would normally require extensive cam development.

30 points to the first person who gets that.
