FOG law question

FOG law question

FOG law question

(OP)
I am trying to understand how to use and create a FOG law.

I want to know if it is possible to create a FOG law to do the following:

I have an AS5202 port.  I want to set a law that updates 2 dimensions, when a third is changed.
Basically,
if A=2, then B=3 & C=4
if A=5, then B=6 & C=7
if A=8, then B=9 & C=10

I don't know if this is possible with a FOG law?

Another question, if a rule is created with a Knowledge advisor license, do other user have to have that license in order to change the model with the rule?  Or is the license only required to create the rule?

Thanks,

Most Catia licenses have the KWA equivalent runtime product built in, but require the full license only to build the rule.

RE: FOG law question

Runz - you need to make 6 fog laws to achieve the desired results  If A=2 then B=3.  If A=2 then C=4....
HD2 & MD2 license configs have the runtime (KE1)for KWA.
You could use a design table & link the data to the catia model.

Derek
