RE: Form Tool request

(OP)
I dont know why the image is not avilable. I have uploaded and pasted the returned link.
However, CBL thanks for the link. Can you throw some light on steps to replicate this on a sheet metal housing that I already have. I tried to drag & drop into the design lib, but it didnot sucessfully complete. When I drag and drop from the example you sent; what features should I consider for "drag & drop".

Then should I have the 45 deg plan in my model before I replicate the gusset.

Thanks
MR

RE: Form Tool request

Look into the Indent feature in Help.

RE: Form Tool request

I don't know how you are creating the gusset, but if it is similar to the examples at the link, you will not be able to create a Form Tool Library Feature.

The examples were to show the use of the Indent function. Various shapes could be created and inserted and mated into a part, and used as the Form Tool with the Indent function.

cheers
