Bend Line Note

(OP)
Is there any way to edit the bend line note in Solidworks to display for example:
BEND @ 135 instead of BEND UP 45
BEND @ 225 instead of BEND DOWN 45

RE: Bend Line Note

Look for a file named "bendformat.txt" in your SW folder. It should be in /lang/english. Modify it to show the bend note as you desire. Keep the original file. You can move the modified file to a different folder. It this case you need to go, in SW, to Tools/Options/File Locations, select Sheet Metal Bend Line Note File, remove the shown folder if any and add the location of your file.

RE: Bend Line Note

I have changed that file, but SW will not calculate the bend if it is up or down.
The file reads:
<bend-direction-up> = UP --> I want it to say:
<bend-direction-up> = BEND @ 180-<bend-angle>
Is there any way to do this?
Thanks.
