Welding C22 material to 316L

(OP)
I have just got a small welding job in it is the welding of a 316L tube 2" to a hastelloy flange C22. What would you say is the best consumable to use for TIG welding and were can I get this knowledge for future reference.
Cheers

RE: Welding C22 material to 316L

Hastelloy C22 is an excellant filler metal in itself. Here is a good description of the recommended electrodes.
This is biased on using a filler metal based on the higher alloy side of the weld.
Don't be surprised at the price.
