Drawing Associated With Knowledge Template - Drawing Manipulation/Cons

Drawing Associated With Knowledge Template - Drawing Manipulation/Cons

(OP)
I have a knowledge template with a Drawing Associated with it.    Therefore, each time I instantiate and generate a New product, I have a new drawing set for that product.

The issue lies within the instantiated drawing document.  The dimension offsets from the geometry are all thrown off and also, updating the view planes is not done automatically.  I have to manually adjust the dimension positions and update the drawings planes.

So, I would like to use a Reaction to script formatting my drawing upon using the document template.  I am able to script the movement/position of the drawing view, but I have had no luck with a script to move a dimension.

Does anyone have any experience with adjusting dimensions with scripting?

Thanks
Chad
