Power of... in text

(OP)
Hi,

I can do it in Word.. but not in SE. I need to get 'x10' with a power of 'n', where 'n' is which ever number I wish. I cannot see how to 'superscript' for any text. Is it at all possible?

Cheers,

M

RE: Power of... in text

M,

Can you insert a Word object or do you not want to do it that way?

Thanks - Todd

RE: Power of... in text

Hi M,
If you need to us a text box or callout you could use the notation 10**n as in 5.72x10**7
or replace your 10** with 'E' as in 5.72E7

RE: Power of... in text

SE does not support superscript. place an ER for it.

RE: Power of... in text

Real kluge, if you do the note as a callout you could put another callout with smaller font as the superscript 'attatched' to the first callout.  This way it will at least follow the note round the drawing if moved.

KENAT, probably the least qualified checker you'll ever meet...
