SolidEdge to FEA packages

(OP)
Hi,

Fairly techy question: Does anyone know of the best way/method of exporting CAD data from SolidEdge to FEA packages (FEMAP in particular) for truss and beam analysis?

Any other techniques or suggestions would also be appreciated...Cheers R (mech eng)

RE: SolidEdge to FEA packages

Best way to get beams in FEMAP is to make a dxf and import it into FEMAP. Drawing in FEMAP is not easy, so importing a dxf is the best way in my opinion.
