Pacific Northwest SWUG Meetings

(OP)
There are two upcoming meetings in the Seattle/Portland area next week.
A SWUG Technical Summit will be held in Portland on July 10th. For more info on it, go to: http://www.swugn.org/pages/summit/SWUGN_Technical_Summit_Portland.html

On July 12th, there's a Seattle Area SWUG meeting being held in Kent. You can get more info on it by going to: http://www.vea-design.com/saspug/

RE: Pacific Northwest SWUG Meetings

Thanks for the info Jeff.  Is there a user's group in the South Sound?  The only one I ever hear about is held up North in Redmond...too far for me.

We've decided to split the meetings between the north and south. This next meeting, on the 12th, is in Kent. Is that close enough?

RE: Pacific Northwest SWUG Meetings

Little appeal in doing things on the east side of the mountains, I suppose?

RE: Pacific Northwest SWUG Meetings

Kent is perfect.  Only 5-10 minute drive for me.  Thanks again for the heads up on the meeting status

SilasH,
I'm sure something could be arranged. A better idea would to be to set up a user group over there. If you go to http://www.swugn.org/, you can find out what the user groups are about and how to set one up. You can also send an email to: usergroups@solidworks.com to get more info/help. Your VAR should also be able to help.

automationbabe,
So we'll see you next week?

RE: Pacific Northwest SWUG Meetings

Well, I'm heading for Pasadena in less than three months, so that burden would need to fall on someone else's shoulders.  I think it's definitely feasible, though, as there always seem to be a good number of people at our VAR whenever someone from SolidWorks comes to demo the latest and greatest.
