Dear All.
We discussed about pereodic test of CT, VT, realys, cables, trafos and generators.
I would like ask about test of breakers and disconnectors.
What type of pereodic tests (if any)? What type of EQ used?
Are need test also trip and coil currentt levels?

Breaker timing tests are fairly common. They assume greater importance on large installations which use ganged single pole breakers with no mechanical interconnection. One of the better known timing test sets is made by Kelman. www.kelman.co.uk

ACBs as used on the LV network usually have a test set available from the OEM which plugs in to a test port on the breaker.
