Piping stress Analysis with ANSYS

Piping stress Analysis with ANSYS

(OP)
Dear all,

I must perform a piping stress analysis in order to evaluate the ground reactions and the nozzle forces in a complete piping model. I'l use ANSYS. Someone can indicate me some tutorials or guides to learn how to model my piping system? There's any examples to benchmark my procedures?

Thanks again Michele

RE: Piping stress Analysis with ANSYS

There's always Chapter 10 in the Modeling and Meshing Guide.  I don't think there's really that much to creating a pipe model if you know you're inputs.  I'm not sure if /eshape allows you to visualize your model in 3D or not for piping elements.
